Harvest, Drying, and Storage of Rough Rice

  • Chapter
Rice

Abstract

The importance of postharvest management of food grains is underscored by the fact that large food losses occur in the world due to poor grain-handling techniques. Therefore, the harvesting, drying, and storage of rice should receive serious attention. This chapter provides some guidelines for achieving this goal.
