This chapter is about using logical English to define and describe data structures. It begins with a description of the identity relation. This relation is used in defining all data structures. The second part shows how logical English can be used to define and describe sets, bags, sequences, relations, functions, and other data types. These examples also show the way mathematical notation is used with logical English. The presentation in this part is brief because you are assumed to be familiar with much of it. After studying this chapter you should be able to:
