Abstract
Penile cancer is a rare disease, in the UK it accounts for <1% of all male malignancies. The incidence of penile cancer in England and Wales is 1.2–1.5 per 100,000 per year.1 This figure is very similar to other Western European and North American countries. However, in parts of Africa, Asia, and South America penile cancer has been reported to account for up to 20% of all male malignancies.
