Abstract

Most of medical institutions only store their medical data in their own system, which brought the problem of medical data isolated island. It makes secure medical data storage, privacy protection and data share in collaborative institutions difficult tasks. A novel blockchain architecture of secure health information storage system, which is decentralized, secure and trusted, tamper-resistant, is proposed to handle those difficult tasks. The proposed model combined consortium blockchain and fully private blockchain as a hybrid blockchain to improve the delay of data validation. Furthermore, some schemes were designed to improve the performance of blockchain technology in medical data storage. By comparing the existing problems in medical information storage, we analyzed the advantages and influence of the proposed model.
