Abstract
The chapter provides a brief summary of some of the key ideas and concepts discussed through the various chapters of this book. It emphasizes that research on anxiety disorders in four- to seven-year-old children is in its infancy and this is reflected by the relative paucity of research pertaining to screening and assessment tools and treatment programs specifically designed for young children. It stresses the hope that aspects of this book will spearhead new research efforts to further validate the Taming Sneaky Fears and other treatment programs for young anxious children. It offers suggestions for how clinicians could use information provided in this book, as well as for future directions for research .
