Abstract

When the Congress of the Soummam in Kabylia was held in August 1956, the questions of mass communication started to concern acutely all the leaders of the Revolution, politicians, and military alike. This declaration was followed by a series of actions being launched to arouse awareness abroad, essentially in the NATO countries allied to France. A number of filmmakers from France and other countries joined the Liberation Front in Tunis.
