Abstract

The problem of balanced vehicle’s load and axle weight distribution is one of the important research topics in modern field of transport logistics and telematics. It is proposed to search for the solution of this problem, considering the model of weight distribution in a multi-span continuous beam, based on hinges, which requires the use of methods for calculating statically undefined systems. The results obtained by numerical methods for the system of nonlinear equations are compared with the results of computer modeling of vehicle axle loading. It allows estimating the accuracy of the numerical methods used. The comparative analysis of various approaches to determining the loads on the vehicle axles is presented. Numerical examples of the distribution of the weight of the cargo along the axes in comparison with the classical approach and measurement results are given here.
