I should like to express my gratitude to Dr. Robert Mathewson, Resident Director of the Lerner Marine Laboratory of the American Museum of Natural History on Bimini, for his encouragement during the field work, for his interest in this paper, and for his support. It was due to his initiative that I could participate in the cruise of the R/V ‘J.A. Oliver’ of the American Museum of Natural History at the end of 1965.
