Abstract

This paper focuses on multiple image warping that is used to compute deformation fields between an image and a collection of images as an extension of variational registration. First, we develop a variational method for the computation of the average of volumetric beating-heart images. Second, we also develop a variational method for the frame-rate up-conversion of optical-flow fields, in which we combine motion coherence in an image sequence and the smoothness of the temporal flow field.
