Abstract
This chapter describes the legal protections available for people with narcolepsy to receive educational and employment accommodations. The key legal factors and procedures are discussed along with tips for medical professionals to help their patients through the process. The chapter also provides practical tips and specific accommodation ideas for people with narcolepsy toward succeeding in school and in the workplace.
