Abstract

Human mesenchymal stem-cells (hMSCs) have multipotent differentiation properties. These cells can be obtained from different areas including bone marrow (hBMSCs), dental pulp, umbilical-cord blood, synovial membrane, placenta, the skin, the umbilical cord, skeletal muscle, Wharton’s jelly, the meniscus, mother’s milk, cartilage, ligament, and adipose tissue (ASCs). A great number of applications of hMSCs have been described in literature.
