Abstract

Three industrial revolutions were catalyzed by technology advances of the last three hundred years of human evolution. With the breakthrough in computer engineering and industrial automation, the beginning of the XXI century is witnessing such phenomena as Internet of Things, Robotics, Virtual Reality, Cyber Warfare, and Industry 4.0. The emerging technologies are initiating the fourth wave of technological breakthrough, the so called Fourth Industrial Revolution.
