Abstract
Colovaginal fistula refers to a communication between the colon and the vagina. It is most commonly associated with complicated diverticular disease, but has various other causes. The combined benefit of PET/MR imaging provides an early detection of fistulas, provides an accurate and precise assessment of the fistula tract, and identifies secondary complications of fistulas.
