Abstract

This chapter provides information regarding the team building process and how to create a work environment that is conducive to team building. You will also learn about your role as a facilitator and collaborator. This chapter will also look at a team building process called TeamSTEPPS. Finally, the role of civility in team building will be explored as well as the detrimental impact of incivility.
