Abstract
The chapter’s main objective is demonstrating how to bridge theory to practice. The chapter focuses on the importance of deconstructing inappropriate hierarchical, dichotomous, and linear thinking patterns since they are roots of racism, sexism, cissexism, heterosexism, classism, ableism, ageism, adultism, and “isms” related to religion, language, and region. The chapter explores challenges and necessities for deconstructing inappropriate thinking styles.
