Abstract

QoS management is a crucial task in wireless networks. Continuous Markov chain is highly significant suitable model for resources management in wireless networks. In this paper, we propose a Continuous Markov chain, to evaluate the performance of Slotted ALOHA protocol implemented in wireless networks. The analysis has been done in two times, and we numerically evaluate system performance under different scenarios. In a first time, we used a Markov chain with two states and in a second time, the space of states has been extended at three states were considered in order to give a more appropriate model.
