Abstract
In this chapter, study techniques and normal ultrasound chest wall findings are presented.
Then, the main applications of the method and, in particular, the diagnosis of some of the most common causes of chest pain and the study of palpableĀ masses are discussedĀ .
Subsequently, the pathological conditions that primarily affect soft tissue, including hematomas and abscesses, and those involving skeletal components, including fractures and osteomyelitis, are treated separately; the primary and secondary neoplastic disease is also extensively treated.
