Abstract
In this chapter Miranda Patrucic, who works for the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP), will provide exclusive insights into her investigation of the First Family of Montenegro. By tracking assets, bank accounts and companies, Miranda was able to reveal a vast web of corruption and fraud that traces back to Montenegro’s political elite. This contribution presents all the details of nowadays digital investigative techniques, data journalism, and traditional muckraking.
