Zusammenfassung
Das 1. Mainzer Umweltsymaposium stand unter dem Generalthema präventive Umweltpolitik. Obwohl das Prinzip Prävention grundsätzlich und allgemein anerkannt wird, wird es bisher kaiun realisiert. Erkennbar übersteigt das Wachstum der Umweltprobleme das Wachstum des Sozialprodukts (Präventionsdefizit).
