Zusammenfassung
Wohl kaum ein Ereignis in der zweiten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts hat die USA mehr geprägt, geformt und beeinflußt wie der Krieg in Vietnam. In allen Bereichen der amerikanischen Gesellschaft, von der Politik über die Wirtschaft bis hin zum kulturellen Leben, hat dieser Krieg Spuren hinterlassen und Veränderungen bewirkt.
