Abstract „Behavior of Boys as an Interactive Practice of Construction“

The current discussion about boys as losers of the German educational system focuses on the role of male teachers in this system. Male teachers are underrepresented especially in primary schools and this causes a lack of exemplary male behavior for boys. But do male teachers really provide a modern example for male students? This contribution deals with the issue of gender construction by analyzing a study on classroom behavior.
