Abstract

The 1960s were the age of coherent optics. Many new optical techniques such as holography and speckle interferometry were realized by the use of coherent laser light. But it is also true that classical optics worked beautifully as well to solve some of the problems, coherent optical techniques were applied to. Moire topography is one of the examples.
