Abstract
This chapter belongs to the Part III of the book, as shown in the shaded area of Fig. 9.1. It first examines parsimony of intelligence and artificial redundancy in MASs, which are practical strategies for implementing any MAS as well as intelligent systems. Then it presents CMB, which is a system integrating case-based reasoning (CBR) and multiagent brokerage. The key idea in CMB is that some agents have CBR ability while other agents have not, based on the parsimony principle of intelligence in MASs. Finally it investigates the analysis and design for implementing the proposed CMB.
