Abstract

Recent advances in network and computer technology has lead to the integration of wireless and wireline network. In this paper we propose a complete framework called Harmony for providing quality of service over heterogeneous wireless and wireline networks. This framework helps allocate and manage both network and computational resources. The bandwidth is reserved based on the Entropy model. A Static Load Mapping and Dynamic Load Balancing scheme is proposed to allocate computational resources. Simulations are carried out to verify the correct functionality of the proposed model.
