Abstract

It is not surprising, that the simple conditions of Earth’s structure, such as the invariable position of the rotation axis with the invariable period of the Earth’s rotation, could not be maintained against present research. The precision of the 19th-century measurements predicted by the theory of Leonhard Euler showed a deviating reality.
