Clinical MR Imaging

Abstract

The introduction of magnetic resonance (MR) imaging has dramatically changed imaging of the musculoskeletal system. MR examinations of the musculoskeletal system are among the most frequent procedures, performed in most MR units. This chapter will deal with MR of the joints, bone (marrow), and soft tissues. Table 5.1. provides an overview of current MR sequences used in the musculoskeletal system.
