Zussamenfassung

Ein müheloses Gleichgewicht des Körperbaus im Schwerkraftfeld der Erde verbessert nicht nur Haltung und Bewegungsqualität eines Menschen, sondern wirkt auch positiv auf das seelische Wohlbefi nden und verstärkt die Selbstheilungskräfte. Die Methode der Strukturellen Integration (Rolfing) nutzt die manuelle Formbarkeit des Binde- und Muskelgewebes (Myofaszia), um eine ausgewogene Neuordnung der Körperstruktur zu ermöglichen. Die strukturelle Veränderung wird begleitet von einer sensomotorischen Schulung zur Erreichung ökonomischer Bewegungsabläufe. Um diese in den Alltag integrieren zu können, wird dem individuellen psycho-sozialen Kontext von Haltung und Bewegung große praktische Bedeutung beigemessen.
