Abstract

It selected 654 men aging from 17 to 60 at random in the china and collected 15 parts of foot data. The paper per-processed the obtained data and then conducted necessary statistics and analysis. It described their foot shape characteristics and how they differ between different groups classified according to the age bracket from many aspects with qualitative and quantitative indexes. In this paper, 4 characteristic indexes which can reflect lower foot figure characteristics of then were obtained by Factor Analysis. The paper classified and subdivided the foot type of men by those characteristic indexes.
