Life Cycle Oriented Quality Assessment of Technical Product-Service Systems

  • Conference paper
Leveraging Technology for a Sustainable World

Abstract

Technical Product-Service Systems (PSS) aim at a more economic and ecologic usage of capital goods. This means, PSS providers contribute to increase sustainability of the customer’s production. Improving PSS quality leads to competitive advantages for PSS providers and to a more sustainable production for their customers. Therefore, measuring and assessing PSS quality is a key issue. However, existing approaches for quality assessment refer either to products or services. Thus, overcoming the separate view of product and service quality is required. For this purpose, a novel approach for life cycle oriented quality assessment of PSS is presented.
