Zusammenfassung
In Organisationen arbeiten Menschen (Fach- und Führungskräfte) mit Menschen (Kunden, Kollegen, etc.) zusammen. Hinter jedem Handeln stehen dabei die grundlegenden Werte und Einstellungen der jeweiligen Akteure. Insbesondere die Werte sind über die Zeit hinweg sehr stabil. Daher sehen einzelne Akteure die Arbeitswelt durch eine relativ stabile Brille, die sogenannten Menschenbilder. Diese beschreiben, welche Rolle einem Akteur (z. B. Mitarbeiter) von einem anderen Akteur (z. B. Führungskraft) zugebilligt wird. Da Menschenbilder das Handeln eines Akteurs leiten, werden je nach Menschenbild auch bestimmte Arbeitsprozesse, interpersonelle Beziehungen und Arbeitsinstrumente bevorzugt oder eher abgelehnt. Da es eine sehr begrenzte Anzahl von grundlegenden Menschenbildern gibt, vereinfachen die Menschenbilder auch die Komplexität des Fachs HRM. Viele einzelne Sachverhalte, Theorien und Anwendungen sind vor dem Hintergrund der Menschenbilder besser zu verstehen.
