Abstract
The present work was developed to assist in the selection of projects in R & D for Electric Power companies in Brazil. On every evaluation system it is fundamental the correct selection of criteria, relevant and adequate for each situation. The normalization of such criteria will guarantee quality on the promotion of technological innovation in electric sector, which plays a key role for the integration of economic, social and environmental factors inside Electric Power Companies. Therefore, a project evaluation model was developed based on knowledge representation methodologies and multicriteria decision problem. This model used aspects from Albertyn, Saaty and Bueno to support the process of quality measurement of R&D Projects.
