Zusammenfassung

Den Anlaß zur Entwicklung des oben angeführten Stoffes gaben Untersuchungen auf dem Gebiete aromatisch-aliphatischer Äther, insbesondere von Abkömmlingen des Chavibetol- und Iso-Chavi- betol, die der eine von uns (Wirth) gemeinsam mit dem Chemiker Dr. Hiltmann seit 1954 durchgeführt hat, vgl. vorangehende Arbeit von Hiltmann, Wollweber, Wirth und Hoffmeister. Chavi- betol und Iso-Chavibetol sind isomer mit Eugenol und mit Iso- Eugenol.

Propanidid: Wirkstoff des klinischen Prüfpräparates Bayer 1420; vorgesehenes Warenzeichen für Bayer 1420 = Epontol^®.
