Zusammenfassung
Als Beispiel dient eine Applikation aus dem Bereich der Kopplung von Telefonnetz und Internet. Mit der Verbreitung des Internets liegt die Idee nahe [Lu,H1998], die Dienste des Telefonnetzes mit denen des Computernetzwerkes zu verknüpfen und sogenannte „PSTN Internet Interworking Services“ anzubinden: „Request to Call“, „Request to Fax“ und „Request to Hear Content“ [IETF2000]. Eine typische Konstellation ist in Abb. 4.1 dargestellt.
