Zusammenfassung

Die arterielle Hypertonie ist die häufigste kardiovaskuläre Erkrankung in westlichen Ländern. Etwa 20% der erwachsenen Bevölkerung leiden an einer arteriellen Hypertonie [1, 2], Im nicht kardiochirurgischen Patientenkollektiv beträgt die Prävalenz der arteriellen Hypertonie 13,6% und stellt damit die häufigste kardiovaskuläre Vorerkrankung dar [21.
