Zusammenfassung
Bei einer 34jährigen, erstgraviden, übergewichtigen Schwangeren (BMI 29), fiel dem betreuenden Frauenarzt in der 24. Schwanger-schaftswoche die Makrosomie des Kindes auf. Die Schwangerschaft verlief bislang unauffällig. Insbesondere fand sich keine Glukosurie, Hypertonie oder Proteinurie. Auf gezieltes Nachfragen berichtete die Patientin jedoch über das Vorkommen von Diabetes mellitus Typ 2 in ihrer Familie.
