Abstract
Interventional MRI procedures have become substantially more feasible with the advent of open-field systems [1, 2] (Table 1). Many new procedures are now possible [3, 4], and several instruments and ancillary equipment for carrying them out have appeared on the market. However, the types of instruments necessary for the carrying out interventional MRI procedures have not yet been clearly defined. We present here our preliminary results evaluating the devices and illustrate their application.
