Zusammenfassung
Der Einfluß einer durchgeführten YAG-Kapsulotomie auf die funktionellen Ergebnisse bei Patienten mit diffraktiver Bifokallinse im Vergleich zu den funktionellen Ergebnissen derselben Patienten frühpostoperativ (1–3 Monate) wurde in der vorliegenden Arbeit untersucht. Bei insgesamt 18 Patienten wurden jeweils Visus, Kontrastempfindlichkeit, Kontrast- und Blendungssehschärfe bestimmt. Dabei zeigte sich kein signifikanter Unterschied zwischen den funktionellen Ergebnissen frühpostoperativ und denen nach durchgeführter YAG-Kapsulotomie. Eine eventuell später postoperativ notwendige YAG-Kapsulotomie stellt somit keine Kontraindikation zur Implantation einer Multifokallinse dar.
Summary
The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of a YAG-capsulotomy on the functional results after implantation of a diffractive bifocal lens. In 18 patients, visual acuity, contrast sensitivity, low contrast visual acuity, and glare visual acuity after YAG-capsulotomy were compared with postoperative results (1–3 months) in the same patients. No significant differences were seen. We conclude that a possibly necessary YAG-capsulotomy means no contraindication for implanting a multifocal intraocular lens.
