Zusammenfassung

Die Hautoberflächentemperatur und die von der Körperoberfläche abgestrahlte Wärme stechen in engem Zusammenhang mit dem Hautgefäßsystem, über das ein großer Teil überschüssiger Wärme aus dem Organismus an die Umwelt abgegeben wird. Unter thermischer Belastung kommt es zu einer zusätzlichen Vasodilation der Gefäße. Daher ist die Messung der Hautoberflächentemperatur oder der Wärmeabstrahlung ein indirekter Parameter für die Hautdurchblutung Zur Quantifizierung der Hauttemperatur oder der Wärmeabgabe stehen verschiedene Techniken wie die Infrarotthermographie, Mikrowellenthermographie und die Kristal-Kontakt-Thermographie zu Verfügung.
