Abstract
The content of this book is the result of a 5-year joint research effort, involving a large group of scientists working at various research institutes and universities in Sweden and Finland, and covering many scientific disciplines such as analytical chemistry, chemical synthesis, microbiology, plant physiology, zoophysiology, ecotoxicology, freshwater and marine ecology.
