Lipoprotein Metabolism

Abstract

The ideal drug for the treatment of hypercholesterolemia should be effective, free of subjective side-effects and of objective toxicity. The experience with three different sitosterol preparations over the last several years will be reported touching upon both their efficacy and their side-effects.
