Zusammenfassung

Mit der intraaortalen Ballongegenpulsation steht für die Behandlung des Low-output-Syndroms nach herzchirurgischen Eingriffen ein sicheres Verfahren zur mechanischen Entlastung des hypoxämisch geschädigten Herzens zur Verfügung.
