Chemical Properties of Boron

  • Chapter
Boron and Refractory Borides

Abstract

It is impossible to describe in detail the chemical properties of elementary boron in a few pages. The object of this article is to give general information. A more complete study of the reactions of boron with the other elements of the periodic table is presented in Chapters C VI-XIII of this volume.
