Inferior Vena Cavography in Hepatic and Intraperitoneal Diseases

  • Chapter
Venography of the Inferior Vena Cava and Its Branches

Abstract

This chapter deals with the changes in the inferior vena cava due to pathologic conditions involving the intraperitoneal organs, e.g., liver, pancreas, digestive tract, and peritoneum. Tumors of the lesser pelvis with intra-abdominal development are dealt with concomitantly, since they raise similar diagnostic problems.
