Abstract

The phylogenetic relationships of various plant species, and Xenopus laevis, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, and Dictyostelium discoideum were determined by comparing R Nase T1 -resistani oligonucleotides of their 18S ribosomal RNA. The results highly demonstrate the usefulness of this technique in phylogenetic studies of eukaryotes.
