Zusammenfassung

Das Postzentrum, als Teil des Postverkehrsnetzes, ist ein System zur Verteilung von Sendungen von einkommenden nach ausgehenden Richtungen. Es ist dies ein typisches Massenwartungssystem in welchem grosse Bedienungsanforderungen von begrentzten Bedienungskapazitäten gefordert werden. Dabei ist die Leistungsnachfrage zufällig und fluktuiert in den Zeit und im Räume. Um die Bearbeitung der Sendungen möglichst schnell und vollkommen zu befriedigen ist ein Steuerungssystem im Postzentrum notwendig.
