Zusammenfassung

Die Einführung kriteriologisch operationalisierter Diagnosen hat die Reliabilität psychiatrischer Diagnosen erheblich verbessern können (Spitzer et al. 1978 b). Für die empirisehe Forschung bedeutet die Verfügbarkeit operationalisierter Diagnosen eine Verbesserung der Vergleichbarkeit von Untersuchungsbefunden auf-grund der exakteren und reproduzierbareren Definition der Untersuchungsstich-proben.
