Zusammenfassung
Die Qualität eines Prognoseindexes, welcher die Basis der Entscheidung über eine postoperative Therapie für maligne Melanome darstellt, hängt sowohl von der Aussagekraft der beteiligten Faktoren als auch deren Verknüpfung zum Prognoseindex selbst ab. Mit Hilfe der Auswahl von sechs histopathologischen Charakteristika des Primärtumors (Tiefen-dicke, Level, Tumorgröße, Pigmentierungsgehalt, Ulceration, lymphocytäre Stromareaktion), einem Fuzzy-Logik-ähnlichen Skalierungsansatz und tabellengesteuerten Verknüpfungen wird versucht, folgenden Kriterien gerecht zu werden: objektive und leichte Meßbarkeit sowie spezifische Tumorbezogenheit der zugrundeliegenden Kenngrößen und leichte Interpretierbarkeit des Prognoseindex (vor allem für nicht fachspezifische, behandelnde Ärzte).
