Zusammenfassung

Die Zahl der Frakturen am proximalen Femurende hat in den letzten Jahren eine Steigerung erfahren. Bedingt durch die höhere Lebenserwartung der Gesamtbevölkerung und die dadurch zunehmende Osteoporose ist der Altersdurchschnitt der Patienten mit diesen Erkrankungen deutlich angestiegen.
