Abstract
The treatment of cervical lymph node metastases consists of surgery, radiotherapy, or a combination of both. The choice of treatment depends upon the site of the primary tumor. Due to the large number of localizations of upper respiratory and digestive tract cancers, it will not be possible to present here in detail the indications for therapeutic intervention site by site; however, the anatomical and physiologic unity of the cervical and facial lymphatic drainage allows us to develop some general principles.
