Zusammenfassung

20% aller Patienten haben maligne Tumoren. Mehr als 20% der Gesamtbevölkerung stirbt an Tumorerkrankungen. Es existieren mehrere Therapieformen:

  1. 1.

    Lokale Behandlung mit Operation und/oder Bestrahlung bei infiltrierend wachsenden Tumoren.

  2. 2.

    Regionale Chemotherapie, z. B. isolierte Organperfusion oder Chemoembolisation.

  3. 3.

    Systemische Behandlung mit antineoplastisch wirkenden Chemotherapeutika (Zytostatika) bei disseminierten Malignomen, z.B. Leukosen oder multiplen Metastasen. Kombination mehrerer Zytostatika mit verschiedenem Angriffsmechanismus. Alternierende Gabe unterschiedlicher Kombinationen in Form zeitlich fixierter Verabreichungsschemata.
